Beaches Near Cefalù
In addition to Capo Playa Beach, located right in front of Villa Surelica (Cefalù), the surrounding area offers many other seaside spots, each with its own unique character and ideal for different kinds of beach experiences.
MAZZAFORNO BEACH
Just a few kilometres from the villa lies Mazzaforno Beach, a small sheltered bay where sand alternates with pebbles. It is especially popular among snorkeling enthusiasts: the seabed, rich in submerged rocks, allows visitors to admire a wide variety of marine life in clear and calm waters.
CALDURA BEACH
Caldura Beach features a rocky shoreline and an impressive cliff rising behind it. The more adventurous can enjoy cliff diving from the rocks. The beach is free to access, and there are small refreshment spots nearby. It is located about 8 km from Villa Surelica.
SETTEFRATI BEACH
Only 4 km from the villa, you will find Settefrati Beach, easily recognisable for its distinctive rock formations emerging from the sea in a straight line. Its striking landscape makes it an unusual and fascinating destination.
CAPO PLAYA BEACH
Capo Playa, the beach directly facing the villa, is one of the best-known coastal stretches near Cefalù. The shoreline is made up of sand mixed with gravel and small stones. It is often windy, making it an ideal spot for windsurfing and sailing.
SANT’AMBROGIO BEACH
About 13 km from the villa, Sant’Ambrogio Beach is a quieter and less crowded area, perfect for those seeking relaxation. The water is clear and transparent, and the atmosphere is more private compared to the central beaches.
POLLINA BEACH
One of the largest beaches in the area, Pollina Beach stretches for approximately 11 kilometres. It is a lively destination, especially in the evening, when it becomes a gathering point for events, music, and bonfires on the beach.
SALINELLE BEACH
Located about 8 km from Cefalù and 4 km from the villa, Salinelle Beach is a long sandy coastline, partly equipped with beach clubs and partly free. It is very popular with young people and water sports lovers, particularly windsurfing enthusiasts. The seabed becomes deep quite quickly, so it is less suitable for small children.
